BRUSSELS, Jan 30 (Reuters) – European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said on Friday that the European Union would soon hold a summit with China.

“We have decided today we will soon have a new summit between the European Union and China,” he told reporters. “The precise date will be decided by the appropriate channels.”
